Tabuk City, Kalinga (10 July) -- Kalinga Police Provincial Director Virgilio Laya said that the shooting of Jose "Pepe" Daguio, 72, here is not a media killing incident. According to Laya, the first consideration is that Daguio is no longer active as a media man since he resigned from a media outfit in 2008 and currently "not connected with any media group." Another consideration he mentioned is that the possible motives that the police are currently investigating "have no indications that the case is media related."
